1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Maple Lingua Education Inc. relating to your use of our German-learning services in Canada, including in-person and online instruction. If you are under the age of majority in your province or territory, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf.

4. Payment Terms and Conditions
All fees, tuition rates, package prices, and any applicable taxes will be communicated at the time of registration or purchase. Unless otherwise stated, prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD).
- Payment is due in full before the start of service unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We may offer installment plans or deposits for certain services; any such arrangement must be followed strictly.
- Failure to pay by the due date may result in suspension or cancellation of services.
- You are responsible for any bank fees, chargeback fees, NSF charges, currency conversion fees, or payment processor fees imposed by your financial institution or payment provider, to the extent permitted by law.
- Promotions, discounts, and vouchers are non-transferable unless expressly stated otherwise and may be subject to additional conditions.
If a payment is reversed, disputed without reasonable basis, or otherwise returned unpaid, we may suspend your access until the outstanding amount is settled. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Our cancellation and refund rules may vary depending on the type of service purchased. Subject to applicable law, the following general policy applies unless a specific course agreement states otherwise:
- Private tutoring: Cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice may be rescheduled once, subject to availability. Late cancellations, missed sessions, or no-shows may be charged in full.
- Small-group workshops and classes: Cancellations made before the start date may be eligible for a refund, less any non-refundable administrative or material fees disclosed at purchase. After a class or workshop has started, refunds are generally not available except as required by law or stated in a specific program policy.
- Exam preparation packages: If a package includes multiple sessions or materials, any refund may be prorated based on services already delivered and materials already provided, less any non-refundable fees.
- Online lessons: Missed lessons due to client unavailability, device issues, software issues, or internet disruptions on the client side are generally non-refundable.
- Instructor cancellations: If we cancel a session, we will generally reschedule the session or provide a credit or refund for the cancelled portion, at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times may vary.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable Canadian consumer protection laws, including rights relating to unfair practices, misleading representations, or defective services where such laws apply.
